Welcome to the new and improved UIGA portal! If you do not already have an account you should be receiving an email soon to register to use the portal. Please make sure to do this to unlock all the features the portal has to offer. If you have not received and email after 2 days feel free to email me at mdwagner@uidaho.edu. As the season progresses I will be sending some emails on tips and tricks for the portal, but in the mean time go ahead and experiment to see everything it has to offer!
Here is a quick run down on what you can do once you are registered:
- View tee sheets and the round robin schedule for the current split
- View results for both divisions on every game we run
- If you are looking for a sub or have a free night where you would like to sub, check out the "Find a Sub" message board under the "Subs" tab
- Browse and upload moderated pictures of the golf course and your fellow league players
- Sign up for tee times, check results and see the calendar of all special events throughout the season in the "Events" tab
- Look at the history of the UIGA over the last 12 years
- Check our UIGA sponsors
- See course and player analytics in the "Stats" tab

New Roster Management Feature for Team Captains
Team Management for Teams With 5+ Players
- Sign into the Golf League Portal at uiga.golfgenius.com by clicking on the gears(three lines on mobile) on the top right hand side of the screen
- After signing in click the gears(three lines on mobile) and select “Team Management”
- Select “Edit Team” under the applicable round
- Select “On Team” for the players who will be attending. Uncheck the players who will not be attending.
- Scroll to bottom of the page and click “Send a Message to the Manager”
- Type in the last names of the players that will be attending and select “Send”
- Close the dialogue box and click “Save Team”
Team Management for Recruiting Subs
- Sign into the Golf League Portal at uiga.golfgenius.com by clicking on the gears(three lines on mobile) on the top right hand side of the screen
- After signing in click the gears(three lines on mobile) and select “Team Management”
- Select “Edit Team” under the applicable round
- Here you will find a list of substitutes under “Possible subs: Golfers who are attending but not on any team”
- Select “On Team” for any of the subs that show up on this list. By default all subs will be marked as not playing unless they mark themselves as playing.
- Scroll to bottom of the page and click “Send a Message to the Manager”
- Type in the last name(s) of the player(s) that you have selected to sub as well as the player they will be subbing for and select “Send.” IE “Wagner for Nelson”
- Close the dialogue box and click “Save Team”
Team Management for a sub who is not on the list
For these subs, we will have to go with the old school method. If you recruit someone who does not normally sub and is not on the “available to sub list” on the team management page, shoot me an e-mail with their name and who they will be subbing for.
